Valuable R-alpha-lipoic acid – for oxidative stress
Alpha-NeuroMit® contains exclusively the naturally occurring R-form of alpha-lipoic acid in an enteric-coated, plant-based cellulose capsule. Alpha-lipoic acid is an endogenous, sulfur-containing fatty acid that, due to its structure, is both water- and fat-soluble, allowing it to perform its functions in both media. It is important for the mitochondria, the "power plants" of the cells. An increased need for R-alpha-lipoic acid can arise during oxidative stress, such as from exercise or smoking.
