Spermidine with Vitamin D3 and Zinc - supporting a healthy immune system

Spermidine is a naturally occurring polyamine that can be found in almost all cells of the body. Its concentration within the body changes throughout life and decreases with advancing age.

MitoSpermidine® contains the spermidine-rich microalgae Spirulina platensis, which is also rich in superoxide dismutase (SOD). The spirulina used is harvested from soda lakes rather than the sea and is therefore low in iodine. The formulation is supplemented by vitamin D3 and zinc in the form of organically bound zinc bisglycinate.

Vitamin D and zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Due to their connection with cellular metabolic processes, these ingredients are classified as so-called Mitoceuticals® in the MitoMed concept.

What is spermidine?
Spermidine is a polyamine and was, as the name suggests, discovered in male seminal fluid. However, spermidine occurs in all body cells. The spermidine content decreases with age.
Is the product MitoSpermidin® also suitable for people who are sensitive to iodine?
Yes, because the microalga Spirulina platensis is harvested from soda lakes rather than the sea and is therefore low in iodine.
In what form is the contained zinc present?
The zinc contained in MitoSpermidin® is in the form of zinc bisglycinate. It is organically bound and therefore has high bioavailability.
