Alpha-lipoic acid mse
A sulfur-containing compound – universally effective
Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulfur-containing compound with a special property: it is both water- and fat-soluble, which allows it to be present in various areas of cells and tissues. It is closely linked to mitochondrial energy metabolism and is classified as one of the so-called Mitoceuticals® in the MitoMed concept.
AlphaLipon mse contains 200 mg of alpha-lipoic acid per capsule. The special capsule shell made of vegetable cellulose and gellan gum is gastro-resistant and protects the contents during passage through the stomach.
Alpha-lipoic acid occurs naturally in the body and is found particularly in metabolically active tissues such as the heart, brain, and liver.
