Cell metabolism is based, among other things, on the functioning of the mitochondria, in which energy is obtained from our food. Zinc belongs to the mitotropic substances that are important for the mitochondria and are therefore also called Mitoceuticals®.

Zinc contributes to:

  • protection of cells from oxidative stress
  • normal cognitive (thinking) function
  • Maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails
  • Maintenance of normal bones
  • Maintenance of normal vision
  • normal vitamin A metabolism
  • normal metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat, protein)
  • normal protein synthesis
  • normal DNA synthesis
  • normal fertility and reproduction
  • normal blood testosterone levels

Possible causes of increased zinc need or deficiency:

Environmental influences

  • Environmental influences
  • zinc-poor soils
  • Heavy metal pollution
  • Amalgam remediation

ZinkII mse

ZinkII mse contains the trace element zincII biologically bound to the freshwater microalgae Spirulina platensis. Biologically bound zincII is particularly well absorbed and utilised. In addition, the microalga is characterised by other valuable ingredients such as chlorophyll, plant protein, minerals, trace elements and vitamins.

The microalgae Spirulina platensis is extracted from soda lakes and is therefore low in iodine. It is therefore tolerated by people who are sensitive to iodine.

ZinkII mse contains 1.25 mg zincII per tablet.

Content

The daily intake of 6 tablets contains: 7.5 mg zincII (75 %*).

* of the reference quantity according to the Food Information Ordinance
