Chromium contributes to normal blood sugar levels as well as normal metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat and protein).
Increased need
An increased need for chromium can occur, for example, with high consumption of simple carbohydrates (e.g. glucose), a high-fat diet, competitive sports, taking certain medications or in old age.
Optimally bioavailable
Biologically bound chromiumIII is particularly well absorbed and utilised. The microalgae Spirulina platensis also contains other valuable ingredients.

Cell metabolism is based, among other things, on the functioning of the mitochondria, in which energy is obtained from our food. Chromium belongs to the mitotropic substances that are important for the mitochondria and are therefore also called Mitoceuticals®.
Chrome contributes to:
the maintenance of a normal blood sugar level
a normal metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat, protein)
Possible causes of increased chromium requirement or deficiency:
Lifestyle
High consumption of simple carbohydrates (e.g. glucose)
High-fat diet
Competitive sports
Organism
in old age
Taking certain medicines
In case of illness*
Trauma
Diabetes mellitus
Infections
* This refers to a possibly increased nutrient requirement and not to the alleviation, healing, or prevention of a disease.

ChromIII mse
ChromIII mse contains the trace element chromiumIII biologically bound to the freshwater microalgae Spirulina platensis. Biologically bound chromiumIII is particularly well absorbed and utilised. In addition, the microalga is characterised by other valuable ingredients such as chlorophyll, plant protein, minerals, trace elements and vitamins.
The microalgae Spirulina platensis is extracted from soda lakes and is therefore low in iodine. It is therefore tolerated by people who are sensitive to iodine.
ChromIII mse contains 50 µg chromiumIII per tablet.
Inhalt
The daily intake of 2 tablets contains: 100 µg chromiumIII (250 %*).
* of the reference quantity according to the Food Information Ordinance
Free from milk protein, lactose, gluten, soya, yeast, gelatine, flavourings, colourings and preservatives.
Recommended intake
Take 2 tablets daily before or with a meal with sufficient liquid.
Sufficient liquid allows the protein-rich Spirulina platensis to pre-swell and be digested better.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Storage information
Keep in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of small children.
Important notice
The microalgae Spirulina platensis contained in ChromIII mse is characterised by valuable ingredients.
The daily intake of 2 tablets contains 1 g Spirulina platensis with:
600 - 650 mg vegetable protein
140 mg carbohydrates
35 - 65 mg fat
up to 70 mg minerals
Trace elements
Vitamins, including vitamin B12
Chlorophyll
Spirulina platensis is easily digestible because it has no cellulose-containing cell wall.
