- a normal energy metabolism
- a normal function of the nervous system
- a normal mental function
- a normal heart function
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) contributes to:
- a normal energy metabolism
- a normal function of the nervous system
- the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- the protection of cells against oxidative stress
- the maintenance of normal mucous membranes, skin
- maintain a normal vision
- the maintenance of normal red blood cells
- a normal iron metabolism
Niacin (Vitamin B3) contributes to:
- a normal energy metabolism
- a normal function of the nervous system
- a normal mental function
- the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and skin
Vitamin B6 contributes to:
- a normal energy metabolism
- a normal function of the nervous system
- a normal mental function
- the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- a normal function of the immune system
- the regulation of hormonal activity
- the normal formation of red blood cells
- a normal protein and glycogen metabolism
- normal cysteine synthesis
- a normal homocysteine metabolism
Vitamin B12 contributes to:
- a normal energy metabolism
- a normal function of the nervous system
- a normal mental function
- the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- a normal function of the immune system
- the normal formation of red blood cells
- a normal homocysteine metabolism
It also has an important function in cell division.

Inositol is:
- a vitamin-like substance assigned to the B-group vitamins
- especially highly concentrated in the brain, liver, spleen, kidneys and testicles
- important for cell membranes
Possible causes of increased B vitamin requirements or deficiencies:
