Melatonin contributes to:
- shortening the time it takes to fall asleep (if 1 mg of melatonin is ingested shortly before going to bed)
- alleviate the subjective feeling of jet lag (from 0.5 mg taken at the beginning of the journey and on the following days shortly before going to bed).
In Melatonin mse matrix, it is bound to a cellulose matrix and is released over a period of about 5 hours.
