Why DiaMit is important for my body

Properties of the ingredients

Cell metabolism is based, among other things, on the functionality of the mitochondria, in which energy is obtained from our food. The vitamins, trace elements, amino acids and other valuable ingredients combined in DiaMit, such as taurine and ubiquinol Q10, are mitotropic substances that occur in the mitochondria and are therefore also known as Mitoceuticals®

Taurine is:

  • a sulphur-containing compound that occurs naturally in the body
  • found particularly in the eyes, brain, heart, muscles and blood
  • localised within the cell, primarily in the mitochondria and membranes

Ubiquinol Q10 is:

  • the bioactive form of Q10 and is significantly better absorbed by the body than "conventional" Q10
  • especially in the mitochondria, the "power stations of our cells", in which vital energy is produced
  • an important component of mitochondrial and cell membranes, which are involved in the exchange of substances and information between cells

Niacin (vitamin B3) contributes to:

  • a normal energy metabolism
  • normal function of the nervous system
  • normal psychological function
  • the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
  • the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and skin

Zinc contributes to:

  • normal function of the immune system
  • protect the cells from oxidative stress
  • normal cognitive (thinking) function
  • the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails
  • the maintenance of healthy bones
  • the preservation of healthy eyesight
  • a normal vitamin A metabolism
  • a normal metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat and protein)
  • normal protein synthesis
  • normal DNA synthesis
  • normal fertility and reproduction
  • a normal testosterone level in the blood

are glycine, cysteine and glutamic acid:

  • Amino acids, which are needed for the formation of proteins in our body, among other things
  • the components of glutathione
  • Glutamic acid and cysteine are semi-essential amino acids whose sufficient supply is not always guaranteed under certain circumstances (cf. essential amino acids, which must be ingested regularly with food as they cannot be produced by the body)

Thiamine (vitamin B1) contributes to:

  • a normal energy metabolism
  • normal function of the nervous system
  • normal psychological function
  • normal heart function

Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) contributes to

  • normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters
  • the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
  • normal psychological function
  • normal mental performance

Chromium contributes to:

  • the maintenance of a normal blood sugar level
  • a normal metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, fat, protein)

Selenium contributes to:

  • normal thyroid function
  • normal function of the immune system
  • protect the cells from oxidative stress
  • the maintenance of normal hair and nails
  • normal sperm formation

Vitamin D3 contributes to:

  • normal function of the immune system
  • normal muscle function
  • a normal calcium level in the blood
  • normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus
  • the maintenance of normal bones
  • the preservation of normal teeth

Frequently asked questions

What role does chromium play in our body?

Chromium contributes to a healthy metabolism of macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats and proteins) and to the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels

Does taurine boost the body because it is also contained in energy drinks?

There is no evidence that taurine has a stimulant effect. It is a substance - an aminosulfonic acid - that also occurs naturally in our bodies. The stimulating effect of energy drinks is due to the high caffeine and sugar content.

Is DiaMit suitable for vegetarians?

The product is suitable for vegetarians. The capsule shell consists of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, which is obtained from plants.
