When AEGS® PPI comp is important for my body

Task of AEGS® PPI comp

AEGS® PPI comp was specifically developed to provide nutrients to accompany therapy when taking stomach acid blockers (also known as proton pump inhibitors, PPI). Gastric acid blockers are medicines that inhibit the formation of gastric acid. This has the effect of reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which is a desired therapeutic effect in many diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

However, in addition to warding off unwanted microorganisms, stomach acid also has important functions in the digestion of our food. A sufficient amount of gastric acid is important for supplying the body with vitamins and minerals. If there is not enough stomach acid available, the absorption of some micronutrients is reduced.
AEGS® PPI comp supports the body in balancing the increased need for these substances. The micronutrients are present in organic and very high-quality compounds. This means they can be absorbed particularly well from the gastrointestinal tract and can also be utilised independently of gastric acid. In addition, four important lead cultures of the intestinal flora are included.

Vitamin B12 contributes to:

  • normal energy metabolism
  • normal function of the nervous system
  • normal mental function
  • a reduction in fatigue and tiredness
  • normal function of the immune system
  • normal red blood cell formation
  • normal homocysteine metabolism

In addition, vitamin B12 has a function in cell division.

Vitamin C contributes to:

  • a normal function of the immune system, during and after intense physical activity
  • an increase in iron absorption
  • normal energy metabolism
  • normal function of the nervous system
  • normal mental function
  • a reduction in tiredness and fatigue
  • normal collagen formation for normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, skin, teeth and gums.
  • protection of cells from oxidative stress
  • the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E

Vitamin D contributes to:

  • normal function of the immune system
  • normal muscle function
  • normal blood calcium levels
  • normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus
  • maintenance of normal bones
  • maintenance of normal teeth

Calcium contributes to:

  • normal energy metabolism
  • the maintenance of normal bones and teeth
  • normal blood clotting
  • normal function of digestive enzymes
  • Normal muscle function
  • normal signal transmission between nerve cells

In addition, calcium has a function in cell division
and specialisation.

Iron contributes to:

  • normal cognitive function
  • normal energy metabolism
  • normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin
  • normal oxygen transport in the body
  • normal function of the immune system
  • a reduction in fatigue and tiredness

Iron also has a function in cell division.

Magnesium contributes to:

  • normal energy metabolism
  • the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
  • normal function of the nervous system
  • normal muscle function
  • normal protein synthesis
  • normal mental function
  • Electrolyte balance
  • maintenance of normal bones and teeth

In addition, magnesium has a function in
cell division.

Zinc contributes to:

  • the protection of cells from oxidative stress
  • normal function of the immune system
  • maintaining normal vision
  • maintaining normal blood testosterone levels
  • maintaining normal skin, hair, nails and bones
  • normal protein synthesis
  • normal vitamin A metabolism
  • normal acid-base metabolism
  • normal metabolism of macronutrients (fat, protein and carbohydrates)
  • normal DNA synthesis
  • normal cognitive function
  • normal fertility and reproduction

Zinc also has a function in cell division.

The contained bacterial cultures:

  • are important key germs of the intestinal flora
  • provide a combination of microorganisms specific to the large and small intestine

AEGS® PPI comp

AEGS® PPI comp is used to provide nutrients to accompany the intake of proton pump inhibitors.
proton pump inhibitors. PPI can cause a deficiency of the following micronutrients if taken continuously: Vitamin B12, C, D3, calcium, iron, magnesium and zinc. These micronutrients are therefore specifically combined in AEGS® PPI comp for consumption during therapy with key bacteria of the intestinal flora.
